Blue Bird Restaurant Opening Delayed
Dear Friends of Blue Bird Farm,
It is with great sadness that we relate the passing this winter of Mrs. Joyce Hannon, founder of Bluebird Farm, and operator for twenty years.
Yet it is with gratitude that we announce that Joyce wanted BlueBird to belong to the people of Carroll County and Ohio to enjoy forever as a park, and public retreat.
Unfortunately, circumstances have not made it possible to open at the normal time this year. The Board of Park commissioners is now soliciting proposals to operate the Restaurant for the 2010 season.
It is our hope a contractor will be able to open the restaurant sometime in June.
Please enjoy the trails and beautiful grounds of Bluebird Farm Park. Trails open dawn to dusk.

 The restaurant is set in a charming, century old farmhouse. Always
delightfully decorated to celebrate the season. In this unique atmosphere, enjoy old-fashioned comfort foods cooked only as Grandma could.
Sumptuous desserts are made daily and are certain to please.
Special dining areas include a two-story glassed-in porch providing a scenic view of the farm's beautiful surroundings and an outdoor deck complete with a view of a waterfall cascading down the
adjoining hillside.
